“Muntakhab ut Tawareekh,” a famous book on Indian history by Mulla Abdul Qadir Badayuni, written in the Persian language, has been acknowledged for its significance and utility in every age. The book chronicles events from the reign of Amir Nasiruddin Subkatgin (377 AH/977 AD) up until the 40 years of the Akbari era, during which the Ghaznavid Empire was founded, and is considered a valuable historical record.
